Pastor Chris and his wife Joy are originally from the Ringgold/ Chattanooga area. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Bible from Bryan College in Dayton, TN. While attending Bryan College, he received awards for proficiency in Greek, for highest G.P.A., and for displaying the most potential for future Biblical studies. He proceeded to receive a Master of Arts degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has served as an adjunct professor for Philadelphia Biblical University where he has taught courses in Genesis, Old Testament Narrative Books, Wisdom Literature, and Systematic Theology.He and his wife Joy have been married for twelve years. They have three children: Emily, Anna, and Caleb.

 Eric Holland, Student Pastor
Eric grew up in Hixson, TN and has lived in Ringgold since 1993. He and his family have been members at Poplar Springs since August of 2005. He has been a committed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ since 1994 and was called to preach and teach God’s Word in 2000. He was called as a full time student pastor in January, 2008. His passion is to strengthen the family as a whole and to teach students the Word of God, while pointing everyone to the sufficiency of Christ in all! He is married to Kimberly and has 5 children- Lauren, Devan, Logan, Gracie, Titus(Ty), and number 6 on the way.

 Joel Denton, Worship Pastor
Joel has been the worship leader at Poplar Springs for 25 years. He is also the Band Director at Ooltewah High School in Tennessee. His family includes wife, Kerry, and two children, Alex and Caroline.
